We ourselves, who have the first fruits of the spirit, groan inwardly while we wait for adoption, the redemption of our bodies. For in hope we were saved. Romans 8:23-24
Omniscient Father, you created us with all our emotions. We find joy in knowing that you can relate to us and that you understand our inner groans. Teach us to wait upon you patiently, prayerfully, and purposefully. This we ask, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
