Fourth Sunday in Lent

Watchword for the week — If anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! 2 Corinthians 5:17

Sunday, March 27 — Joshua 5:9-12; Psalm 32
2 Corinthians 5:16-21; Luke 15:1-3,11b-32

Those who oppress the poor insult their Maker. Proverbs 14:31

Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” Matthew 25:40

Jesus, dear and closest brother to all who struggle, help us get over our attitude of entitlement and fragile sense of superiority. Forgive us the insults and injuries we inflict on you by failing to love and honor our brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen.
