Paul wrote to the congregation in Corinth: I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. 1 Corinthians 2:3-4 (NKJV)
Spirit of God, clothe us in the armor of your word. Kindle our hearts to burn with the truth of your gospel. Send us your spirit and power that we may be strengthened in our Christian faith. Amen.
