Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and he said to him, “What do you command your servant, my Lord?” Joshua 5:1
Jesus knelt down, and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me; yet, not my will but yours be done.” Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and gave him strength. Luke 22:41-43
Christ, who taught us how to pray, draw near to your servants. In your mercy, give us but a small portion of the faith you showed in your earthly ministry, and lead us into right relationships with you and our neighbors. Hear our prayer, Chief Elder dear. Amen.
