You have made the Lord your refuge. Psalm 91:9
For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:5
Protector God, when fierce storms threaten, you give us shelter and refuge under your wings like a mother hen. You murmur comforting words of consolation that all will be well. We give thanks that you care for us and raise us up, even as you cared for and raised up Christ. Amen.
