You know the generous act of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9
Immanuel, you chose to act on our behalf. You left your heavenly throne to be with us on earth, so that we could attain the richness of your hope. Be always with us, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
