Wednesday, September 23 — Psalm 109:8–20
1 Samuel 14:41–15:23; John 2:12–25

He will swallow up death forever. Isaiah 25:8

While we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 2 Corinthians 5:4 NIV

Sovereign Lord, may the love and life of your son, Jesus, consume our lives so that we may share his light and the hope of eternity with others. Amen.
