Estamos Unidos is 5 years old! On Saturday, September 16, 2023 the community of Estamos Unidos and friends of the ministry came together to celebrate 5 years of ministry in the Sunnyside neighborhood. When Rev. Angelica Regalado-Cieza began her discernment of ministry alongside the Hispanic community in the Winston-Salem area in 2017 they found a partner in Sunnyside Ministry that allowed for them to serve their community through Spanish language bible study, ESL classes, youth activities and more.
In the last five years, the ministry has grown and developed partnerships with Anthony’s Plot Community, Open Arms ministry, MCSP Collaborative Sunday School, NC Congress of Latino Organizations, and other community organizations. This vital ministry has faced the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic with responsiveness and creativity. They are a leader in collaboration with lessons to share with our province to build bridges and vision together!

Dear God,
We give thanks for the vision and commitment of Pastor Angelica as she has shepherded and lead the Estamos Unidos ministry over the last five years. We celebrate the affirmation of her ministry as she is Consecrated a Presbyter on Sunday September 24, 2023;
We give thanks for the Estamos Unidos leaders who have gathered for study, prayer and community activities and continue to share their gifts with one another and the surrounding community;
We give thanks for the community that makes Estamos Unidos what it is and continues to grow in faith together;
We give thanks for the many ways this ministry share Christ’s love in their neighborhood and for the future of this ministry;
We give thanks for the opportunities to share in and support the work of Estamos Unidos now and in the future!
