Tuesday, September 23 — Psalm 108:6-13
1 Samuel 14:1-40; John 2:1-11

When Job’s three friends heard of all these troubles that had come upon him, they sat with him on the ground seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word to him, for they saw that his suffering was very great. Job 2:11,13

Weep with those who weep. Romans 12:15

When we see people suffering it is so easy for us to jump in and try to fix their problems ourselves. Lord, help us to realize that you are the healer of all and we are nothing more than your assistants who help guide the injured to you. Amen.
