2 Samuel 15:1–29; John 9:1–12
You [our God] have been just in all that has come upon us, for you have dealt faithfully and we have acted wickedly. Nehemiah 9:33
If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Hear us, O Lord, and forgive us for our sins. Mercifully extend your love to us and help us face the truth of our rebelliousness. Teach us and enable us to extend this same mercy to our neighbor. Amen.
