Agabus predicted by the Spirit that there would be a severe famine over all the world, and this took place during the reign of Claudius. The disciples determined to send relief to the brothers and sisters living in Judea. Acts 11:28-29
O God, who calls us to care for one another, help us to seek justice, and rescue the oppressed. We pray especially for those experiencing food insecurity this day, that they may be fed. Amen.
