Easter

Watchword for the week — But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have died. 1 Corinthians 15:20

Sunday, March 31, 2024 — Acts 10:34-43; Psalm 118:1-2,14-24
1 Corinthians 15:1-11; Mark 16:1-8

I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. Isaiah 42:16

Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished from their sight. Luke 24:30-31

O risen Christ, as the dawn’s early light casts out the darkness of night from the earth, so may the light of your resurrection drive the shadows from our hearts. By the power of the new life you promise us, we will see each new each day as a personal Easter event, until that new day dawns for us in your eternal kingdom. Amen.
