Saturday, March 9, 2024 — Psalm 35:1–10
Exodus 17:1–18:6; Matthew 22:41–23:12

Why is my pain unceasing, my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Truly, you are to me like a deceitful brook, like waters that fail. Jeremiah 15:18

Paul wrote: In Christ Jesus our Lord, we have access in boldness and confidence through faith in him. I pray, therefore, that you may not lose heart over my sufferings. Ephesians 3:12-13

Divine Mystery, when hardship is present in our lives, we are tempted to imagine that you are absent or of no avail. By your Holy Spirit, keep us ever mindful of your nearness. May we be emboldened to not lose heart over your presence and power to bring comfort and wholeness to our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
