The Lord turned toward Israel because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and would not destroy them, nor has he banished them from his presence until now. 2 Kings 13:23

God of Abraham, you have been faithful to your covenant in claiming us as your people. May we be equally faithful to that covenant by affirming you as our only God. May we demonstrate our faithfulness by living out the ministry of Jesus Christ through our lives. Amen.
