The Lord filled Zion with justice and righteousness; he will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. Isaiah 33:5,6
Meanwhile the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and was built up. Living in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers. Acts 9:31
Heavenly Father, you are the creator of a vast and varied universe in which you declared all to be good. Around us in the world and within the church which you created, we experience change and division. May we ever be mindful to look to Jesus as our trustworthy source of stability in the midst of change and a center for unity amid all division. Amen.
