Jesus went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him. When he reached the place, he said to them, “Pray that you may not come into the time of trial.” Luke 22:39-40
Loving Savior, on this day we remember your last evening of fellowship with your disciples—a night of prayer, abandonment, and betrayal. May we examine our hearts this day and recommit ourselves to lives of willing obedience and commitment to you in response to your matchless love. Amen.
