Friday, January 27 — Psalm 18:1–6
1 Chronicles 25; Acts 16:16–29

The righteous are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. Psalm 1:3

Paul wrote: This is my prayer, that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9,11 NIV

Creator, we pray that the seeds of love you plant in us will grow, not just for our benefit, but so that we may serve others. May your love overflow from our lives and touch all who are in need. Amen.
