Justin Rabbach
Executive Director
Justin Rabbach serves as the Executive Director of the Board of World Mission (BWM) of the Moravian Church in North America, a role he has held since November 2017. Based in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Justin combines extensive experience in international development with a lifelong commitment to mission and service.
Justin holds both an MBA and a Master’s degrees in International Public Affairs with a focus on International Development. undergraduate degrees in Economics and Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His journey in mission work began with a transformative trip to Nicaragua in 2007, which deepened his understanding of the power of building cross-cultural relationships and serving God through global partnerships. Since then, he has worked in mission capacities across the United States, Central America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.
Prior to joining BWM as a staff member, Justin served on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee as Vice Chair. In 2014, he became the Director of Mission Engagement, leading volunteer coordination and providing resources to support congregational mission discernment. As Executive Director, Justin has championed collaborative efforts to address global challenges, such as refugee advocacy, disaster response, and sustainable development, while strengthening connections across the worldwide Moravian Unity.
Justin remains dedicated to empowering individuals and congregations to live out their faith through mission. He encourages anyone interested in mission opportunities or educational resources to reach out and explore how they can make an impact.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Amy Gohdes-Luhman
Director of Mission Engagement
As Director of Mission Engagement, Amy is responsible for developing relationships with our constituent congregations in North America and providing opportunities for Moravians to join in God’s mission as they feel called. She is excited to foster global relationships and encourage missional work throughout our congregations–knowing that missional work may look different in various contexts. For Amy, ministry and mission is all about creating and nurturing right and loving relationships between all of God’s children.
Amy grew up in the church as the daughter of Cynthia and Bob Gohdes, a Moravian pastor who served in the Western District. Since her ordination in 1996, she has served in parish ministry at Main Street Moravian Church in Northfield, Minnesota, and Waconia Moravian Church in Waconia, Minnesota. During her time in Northfield, she also served as an adjunct professor at St. Olaf College, having received her PhD in Hebrew and Rhetoric from Northwestern University in 2004. Throughout her ministry, Amy has consistently and generously used her gifts in service to the Western District and Northern Province: offering lectures and providing leadership at camps and retreats, serving on boards and committees, and mentoring pastors and lay leaders. She has also served our Worldwide Moravian Unity as a delegate to Unity Synod in 2009 and 2023 and as the Chair of the Unity Committee on Theology for over a decade. In 2023, Amy was elected and consecrated as a Bishop of the Moravian Unity.

Rev. Dan Miller
Director of Mission Service
Dan Miller joined our staff as the Director of Mission Service in February of 2025. Dan grew up in Lake Mills, Wisconsin and from early on was active in his local church and other Moravian ministries. He received his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and his Masters of Divinity from Moravian Theological Seminary. Dan’s first career was as a junior high and high school math teacher in the Wisconsin public school system. He moved out to Pennsylvania to attend seminary while also serving as the student pastor for College Hill Moravian Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and a chaplain intern for the Reading Health System in Reading, Pennsylvania. Dan served as the pastor of Edgeboro Moravian Church from 2016-2025. He has been involved in the ministry of the Board of World Mission for many years, serving on our board of directors from 2019-2025 and as the vice chair from 2022-2025. Both he and his wife, Beth, currently reside in Bethlehem. In his spare time, Dan can be found playing his bass guitar or following his favorite (Wisconsin) sports teams.
As Director of Mission Service, Dan is responsible for facilitating mission service opportunities to empower individuals to take part in mission both locally and globally. He coordinates youth and young adult Convos, resources Moravian youth ministries with mission-related programming, and develops intentional leadership training for Moravian clergy, lay leaders, adult members, and youth. Dan is passionate about equipping others to know and live out their faith, love, and hope and making known the stories that come as a result.

Sylvie Hauser
Director of Communications and Development
Sylvie Hauser joined our staff as the Director of Communications and Development in August of 2021. Sylvie graduated from Carleton College with a degree in Political Science and International Relations and is an alumnus of the AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) program. She was raised in the Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church and was involved in mission from a young age, volunteering locally and abroad with her family, home congregation, and the Board of World Mission. Before joining the BWM staff, Sylvie traveled to Nová Paka, Czech Republic, as a BWM Antioch servant in 2015 and served as a BWM summer intern in 2018.
As Director of Communications and Development, Sylvie manages our fundraising initiatives and communications, including our website, social media, newsletters, and more. Sylvie is passionate about building connections between Moravians and sharing the stories of the good work being done around the world. Rev. Angelica Regalado Cieza
Director of Mission Outreach
Angelica, originally from Chiclayo, Perú, serves as the Director of Mission Outreach for the Board of World Mission (BWM) of the Moravian Church in North America. She brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to fostering global relationships that reflect the love of Christ and the Great Commission.
Angelica holds a Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity and a Certificate in Moravian Studies from Moravian Theological Seminary. Since her ordination as a Deacon of the Moravian Church in 2017, she has dedicated her ministry to supporting underserved communities, particularly Hispanic immigrants in Forsyth County, NC. As the founder and pastor of Estamos Unidos Moravian Ministry, she established a thriving ministry that addresses both spiritual and practical needs, embodying the church’s mission to serve and uplift.
In her role with the BWM, Angelica focuses on building capacity within the global Moravian community. She collaborates with Unity partners to enhance spiritual development, equip leaders, and support sustainable mission efforts that empower local churches to share their faith in meaningful ways. Her work emphasizes context-sensitive discipleship and leadership formation, ensuring culturally relevant approaches to ministry.
Angelica was consecrated a Presbyter of the Moravian Church in September of 2023.
Living in Winston-Salem, NC, with her husband Ruben and their two daughters, Angelica values building connections at every level—locally, nationally, and internationally. Her unique perspective as an immigrant and her passion for service continue to inspire her mission to strengthen the global Moravian Church and its witness to God’s love.

Sue Adams
Administrative Assistant
Sue is a dedicated member of Emmaus Moravian Church in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, where she has served in various leadership roles, including on the Christian Education Committee, Board of Elders, and Sacristans Corps. She is currently the Head Sacristan. With over 23 years as a stay-at-home mom, Sue homeschooled her three children and managed rental properties while staying active in her community.
In her professional role with the Moravian Board of World Mission, Sue oversees the administrative support for the board’s work and serves as the primary contact for questions about donations. She is also a resource for directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members, ensuring smooth communication across the organization. Sue is passionate about building relationships to further share Christ’s love with others.

Rex joined the staff as Treasurer in July 2015. Rex has been involved with finances since graduating from Rutgers in 1975. Rex has served in a variety of leadership roles in his home church, Palmyra Moravian in Cinnaminson NJ, and has served as Treasurer of the Church since the early nineties.
Rex is blessed to work with several smaller companies on accounting and financial related tasks through the Knowlton Advisors, LLC. Rex worked for almost thirty years in assuring access to non-emergency medical transportation in Philadelphia and surrounding areas through Wheels of Wellness, starting as Finance Director and moving onto Executive Director from shortly after college graduation through 2005.
Rex works to improve surface transportation across the country having served as one of ten Coordination Ambassadors working through the Federal Transit Administrations United We Ride program from 2005 through 2012 and more recently through Community Transportation Association of Americans Tribal Transit program which assist native American nations to access or build appropriate transportation.
Rex and his wife Gina recently celebrated forty years of marriage and enjoy the company of their two children Justin and Megan and their mates Timmy and Tommy and as importantly, the six grandchildren Kaeli, Sammy, Jamie, Abby, Lilly, and Karina!
