You are invited to join us in a visioning event for the Children and Family Team. The team includes smaller teams focused on children/family, youth and young adult ministry. This event will give you the opportunity to network with other leaders and build relationships that can strengthen your ministry in the local context. We will have space for each group of leaders in each area to meet and dream together. There will be time for the whole group to come together to see where our ideas intersect and what we can do to support one another.
We will gather from 9am-3pm on Saturday May 21, 2022 in a hybrid format. We welcome you to participate in whatever way is most workable for you. The physical location will be determined soon and will be in the Winston-Salem area.
The hoped for outcomes of this visioning event are:
- Share ideas about faith formation strategies in congregations
- Discussion of the ways the province can support your work in congregations and partnerships that might provide dynamic opportunities for our ministries to grow.
- Brainstorm potential provincial events that can connect and support the ministry of faith formation for all children, youth and young adults.
- Give some direction to the Commission on Congregational Development about the needs for faith formation as we move forward.
