Who We Are

Support

The Commission on Congregational Development invites you to make a gift that helps us continue to support Moravians to tell our story well into the 21st century. For decades, we’ve been creating educational events, books, videos, Sunday School and small group materials for Moravians and their congregations.  We are looking at the development of new ways to support the mission of congregations with faith formation, capacity building and collaborative models of ministry.

Our annual budget covers only a portion of our work, but together, we can keep living out the Moravian story. Whether it’s $1, $10, or $100, every little bit goes a long way.  Click the link below to make your gift today! A recurring gift goes even further.

Opportunities for Ongoing Support

The Commission on Congregational Development brings together many minsitries in our province and is creating new bridges for growth and transformation as our congregations meet the challenges of ministry in our day. You gift allows for us to support creative solutions and innovative ideas at the congregational and provincial levels.

We need you to continue our daily work. Our annual budgeted income is made up of:

  • income from Moravian churches (75%);
  • income from investments and endowments (15%);
  • transfers from designated funds (8%); and
  • sales of curriculum and merchandise (2%).

Our budgeted income continues to decline as society and church change. We need the support of individuals to ensure our ministries continue to benefit our members and future members! Please consider an ongoing or planned gift to support these important ministries. Thank you!

A Word about Planned Giving

If you would like for us to continue to minister, serve, develop, and thrive even after you enter into the more immediate presence of our Savior, consider planned giving.  Funding future ministry by making planned gifts is a critical part of sustainable stewardship.  Gift planning involves thought and consideration ahead of time that, in turn, makes a difference now and in the future.  We hope you will consider making such a gift to us.  For more information or help with a planned gift, please call Chris Spaugh at 888-722-7923 or visit the website https://giftplanning.mmfa.info/giving-options.
