Moravian Mental and Brain Health Surveys

“Come to me, all you who are struggling hard and carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. Put on my yoke, and learn from me. I’m gentle and humble. And you will find rest for yourselves. My yoke is easy to bear, and my burden is light.” – Matthew 11:28-30 (Common English Bible)

The Commission on Congregational Development in partnership with Laurel Ridge have created a survey on Moravian Leadership Mental Health Support to assess what current leadership knows about mental health support work and what they would like to learn. Both members of clergy and laity in leadership positions are highly encouraged to fill out the survey which can be found here.

This working group will provide education on mental and brain health for congregations and their pastors, working toward issues and needs being addressed openly and comfortably. Our goal is to be a resource for all congregations of the Moravian Church, Southern Province by supplying and coordinating printed and online resources, emergency procedures, program models, workshops for clergy and lay leaders. Resources are curated by members of the Mental and Brain Health resource team, a Cooperative Ministries working group.

If you have a suggestion or resource to share, send it our way using this short form.

Previously, the CCD shared some resources on Mental Health support in this blog post.
