Due to contracting Covid-19 and the doctor recommended recuperation period, Beth Hayes, the Director of Congregational Ministries and Resources, will not be returning to our offices before her intended retirement date of July 31. We lament that she is unable to finish out her work as planned, due to illness, but her health and well-being are the top priority.
Beth’s passion for faith formation, dedication to the development of resources to enhance the work of congregations, lay and professional Christian Educators in the Moravian Church through her years of service has been a tremendous gift. She is irreplaceable. The lessons she has taught us throughout her tenure will continue on as we honor her legacy with commitments to faith formation training and support in our congregations and province. We are so grateful that she responded to God’s call to ministry and has served our church so faithfully for many years!
There will be an opportunity to celebrate Beth’s retirement but we are postponing any plans until a later date.
