In mid-July, our brothers and sisters in Cuba held their annual summer camping ministry. Several youth and young adults from Friedberg Moravian Church and Estamos Unidos Moravian Ministry (both in Winston Salem) attended the camp. We are glad to have made it possible for campers and staff from the Moravian Church in Costa Rica to join the camp, as well. Together, they studied the book of Philippians, participated in Bible Olympics, worshipped God, learned about the Moravian Church in Cuba and about the many cultures represented in the group (Peruvian, Mexican, Costa Rican, U.S., and Cuban).
Thank you to the Moravian Church in Cuba for welcoming Moravians from around the world into your ministry! We gave thanks also for the Armando Rusindo Mission Foundation’s support of the camp and for the leaders of the Estamos Unidos ministry and the Friedberg congregation and all of the work that they did in preparation for this gathering. ¡Gracias a Dios!
