In early August, the Board of World Mission sent four young adults, Molly Williams, Wesley Christianson, Kaile Reid, and Mikayla Sauerbrey, to Hejnice, Czech Republic, where they spent a week with Czech young adults. Together, they learned about our Moravian history, traveled to significant Moravian heritage sites, discussed cultural and theological similarities and differences, and shared fellowship over delicious Czech cuisine.
We are grateful to former BWM staff member Jill Kolodziej for being the group’s fearless leader, and to our Czech brothers and sisters for welcoming these young people and providing the program.
