BWM mission grant funding recently supported the purchase of a new car for the Moravian Church in Western Tanzania. Prior to purchasing this vehicle, the province had been relying on thirty-year-old cars with significant maintenance and fuel costs. This car will make it possible for provincial leaders to more efficiently reach all of their congregations, which span eight regions and almost 1,000 miles.
It will also be used for mission work in bordering countries. Two other Moravian mission agencies, the British Mission Board and the Danish Mission Board also supported this effort.
