Shalom!! In Jesus name from Ray of hope mission Kenya. We hope you are doing well and safe during this trying period. We are good and safe. We are very sorry for not been in communication for a long period of time. It has been hard to accept the reality of this pandemic but we are gaining strength and trusting God to heal world, as the word says in the book of 2 chronicles 7:14.
Since the second week of March all learning institution have been suspended until the curve of covid – 19 flattens for the safety of the teachers and learners. This forced some of children to go home and be with their relatives until when the government gives the guidelines about the reopening of schools. As we look forward for the reopening we might not be able to have all the kids back to our school due to the 1.5 meter social distancing please pray for us. While some kids were away we had few staff members who were keeping the place clean and the standard required. The kids will be coming this month but in phases first the high school kids then later the primary kids.
We as Tesh family for the last 5 years we have been praying for a piece of land which we got and paid slowly until we finished we got 5 hectares. This year we built a three room house where we are living now. It is about 10 minutes’ walk from Ray of hope. We are still with the kids only that we are not spending the nights there but from morning to evening we are together. We just needed our own place as a family to have. We were able to plant corn which we got 4 sacks 90kgs that can help support our ministry. We as a family and Ray of hope mission we thank you for standing with us in prayers and support may God bless you so much.
Ceci has been invited at Turkana northern part of Kenya to speak to the young girls from 1st to 6th October 2020, who are disadvantaged by the culture and getting married off at a very tender age of 10 years. Please pray for her for God’s direction in this situation. She has a big heart for the girl child
